Before you turn on a customer follow-up campaign

By Attendova Team · Updated

A short setup check for your contact list, call instructions, schedule, and bookings.

A follow-up campaign should start with one clear job. Remind customers about a service, get back to people who requested a call, or follow up on a past visit. Mixing all three into one script makes the conversation harder than it needs to be.

Check the people on the list

Review where the contacts came from and whether the reason for calling still applies. Remove wrong numbers and customers whose contact preferences say not to call. A smaller list with useful context is easier to check and easier for your team to follow up.

Give the receptionist enough context

Include the shop name, the purpose of the call, the information it can give, and what to do with questions it cannot handle. Check the services and prices you supply. Your team should handle a new repair recommendation or a change to an estimate.

Match the schedule to your capacity

Choose when the campaign runs and make sure the calendar has the appointments you want to offer. If a customer asks for a person, someone needs to be available at the transfer destination. Check the whole path before starting a larger run.

Look past the call count

Review outcomes, useful conversations, booked visits, and follow-up work left for the advisor. Start small enough that your team can read the results. Adjust the instructions before expanding the campaign.
